Work on a viaduct between Breakeyville and Saint-Lambert

Repair work on the bridge allowing road users traveling on Chemin Beauséjour to cross Highway 73, in Saint-Jean-Chrysostome, will begin Monday and will continue until the end of September. To enable this work to take place, obstacles will be put in place over the coming days.

On Chemin Beauséjour, traffic will alternate on the bridge spanning Highway 73 starting Sunday at 8 p.m. In this area, the maximum speed limit on this rural road will be lowered to 50 km/h.

Also, one lane in two will be closed on Highway 73 South, near the bridge located between Breakeyville and Saint-Lambert, from Tuesday, April 30 to Thursday, May 2, between 4 a.m. and 3 p.m., as well as on Friday, May 3, between 4 a.m. and 2 p.m.

One lane in two will also be closed northbound, from Sunday May 5 to Thursday May 9 between 6 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. the next day. In the sector, the maximum speed limit will be lowered to 90 km/h.

Restrictions related to loads and dimensions for truckers will also be in effect on this part of Highway 73. The clear height where the bridge will be 4.5 meters from April 30, in the south direction, as well as from from May 5, heading north.
