Plérin: two sisters prepare the Fémina Adventure Guadeloupe raid

It has already been almost six months that Laëtitia and Alexandra Moreau have been running around companies looking for sponsors. Objective: to complete the registration budget for their “Team Croq’Alex”, travel and equipment for the Femina Adventure Guadeloupe. “This is our first challenge,” emphasize the two sisters. The second will take place in November, nearly 7,000 km from here, where they will discover the tests that await them.

“They are day and night”

This includes trail running, sea kayaking, orientation, canyoning, swin and run, sea swimming and even ropes course. All in running mode. “Know what we hate,” they smile. However, since last November, they have taken up running, each on their own, and since this Monday, hand in hand, in the bay of Saint-Brieuc.

Realizing that “it is good for the body and the brain”. And that this strengthens the family bond that unites them. Because, apart from the brotherly bond, the two thirty-somethings have everything that opposes them. “They are day and night. One goes for it, the other thinks,” assures Philippe, their dad.

Laëtitia, the go-getter

The go-getter is Laëtitia, 32 years old. Both a technician in a construction design office and creator of a company in the field of health and well-being, the Dijonnaise is “a fantastic athlete”, says her elder.

Gym with high-level competition, complete horse riding competition, pole dancing, hoop and aerial silks… She is a jack of all trades who has “winning in her blood”. And, marked by the death of a loved one, the desire to communicate about Brugada syndrome. This heart disease is very little known and difficult to detect, characterized by syncope or sudden death, linked to tachycardias. “We launched an online fundraiser to finance an association,” she insists.

Alexandra, the thoughtful

The thoughtful one is Alexandra, 35 years old. An interior decorator, the Plérinaise has dabbled in the gym, tennis, bad, fitness, “but in the leisure version, competition is not my thing”. But she has been making up for it since last September, with crossfit and swimming. There’s no way she’s going to be a drag. “I entered Laëtitia’s challenge. We will cross the finish line together, maybe second to last, but not last! »
