He is one of the four big winners of the year in Paris. Saturday, September 14, 2024, a player from Quinté + won the tidy sum of 122,680 euros playing in Paris. His ticket had been validated in the “Le Week-end” bar-tabaclocated on Boulevard Voltaire, in the 11th arrondissement.

The winner remained anonymous

According to Iliès Chu, owner of the establishment, the lucky winner still hasn’t come to claim his winnings. “I think he went to another outlet to do it and keep it low-key. I would have congratulated him in person. Whoever it was, it’s great and I’m very happy for that person,” he shares.

In the establishment, rumors are rife to try to unmask identity of the player. “It’s fun and it creates a good atmosphere. I have no idea if he’s a regular or a passing customer. In any case, I hope that other winnings will be made,” comments the owner.

The capital’s winning record for the year 2024 remains for the time being the one won in July. A player from the 16th arrondissement then won 316,677 euros.
