It has now been 25 years since these Musical meetings ProQuartetinvite the public to discover the chamber music repertoire through original journeys and unique cultural immersions.
This event, organized in part as part of the European Heritage Days, highlights the wealth of musical heritage and architectural of the department.
This new edition will offer a captivating programming with open-air concerts, musical walks and performances at exceptional sites such as the Château de Fontainebleau or the banks of the Seine with its famous Affolantes, superb 19th century residencese century.
Bike ride
It all starts on Saturday, September 21 (3 p.m.) with the Karski quartet which will take place in the English gardens of the Château de Fontainebleau. The following day, Sunday, September 22 (11 a.m.-6:30 p.m.), the Magenta quartet will animate The “Affolantes on bikes”. This original route will combine a bike ride (departure from Bois-le-Roi station at 11 a.m.) and a musical stop in Samois-sur-Seine before a grand final concert at the Bel-Ebat manor in Avon.
The festival will continue on Saturday, September 28 with a concert by Wassily Quartet in the church of Bourron-Marlotte and on Sunday September 29 in Saint-Mammès and on the Madison barge, in Melun, with the Ineo quartet.
