A dangerous overtaking that could have dramatic consequences. On Monday, September 16, 2024, a 23-year-old man was hospitalized in serious condition following a face to face in Goussainville (Val-d’Oise).
The accident occurred around 11:15 p.m. While driving up Avenue de la Gare, the driver swerved into the left lane to overtake a vehicle. But he had not seen that another car was coming in the opposite directionThe shock could not be avoided.
Under the violence of this, the young driver was thrown from his vehicle. Taken care of by the firefighters and a medical team from Samu 95, he received first aid on the spot before being evacuated in absolute emergency to the Pitié Salpêtrière hospital centerin Paris.
The accident claimed two other victims, a 22-year-old woman and a 29-year-old man. They were slightly injured and were rushed to Gonesse hospital.
