Chicken wings from the Auchan brand have been the subject of a large recall since Wednesday April 17, 2024. According to Rappel Conso, this poultry marketed throughout France between March 21 and April 3, 2024 is likely to be contaminated with Listeria.

Another Chicken Recall
This Thursday, April 18, the E.Leclerc brand also recalled “Chicken legs 1 kg” from the Le Gaulois brand, indicates Rappel Conso. Unlike the previous one, this product belonging to batch 0244091716 (GTIN code) was only marketed in Calvados, Eure, Manche and Seine-Maritime. Its use-by date was April 11. This recall will end on Tuesday April 30 and a number has also been set up. It is 02 43 62 64 15.
Refund in store
As a reminder, “Listeriosis is a disease that can be serious and has an incubation period of up to eight weeks”. The government website states that “serious forms with neurological complications and maternal or fetal damage” can sometimes occur in pregnant women.
The people who would have eaten these pieces of chicken and “who present with fever, isolated or accompanied by headache, and body aches” must consult their treating physician as quickly as possible, notifying them of this consumption. Affected customers are asked to destroy these products or return them to the store for a refund.
