Chicken wings from the Auchan brand have been the subject of a large recall since Wednesday April 17, 2024. According to Rappel Conso, this poultry marketed throughout between March 21 and April 3, 2024 is likely to be contaminated with Listeria.

In detail, these are “Chicken wings x 8” packaged in a tray and belonging to lot 0244091521. The expiration dates for this product are from 1er to April 3. This recall will end on Wednesday April 24, 2024. Consumers can contact 02 33 30 34 00 for more information.

Another Chicken Recall

This Thursday, April 18, the E.Leclerc brand also recalled “Chicken legs 1 kg” from the Le Gaulois brand, indicates Rappel Conso. Unlike the previous one, this product belonging to batch 0244091716 (GTIN code) was only marketed in , Eure, Manche and Seine-Maritime. Its use-by date was April 11. This recall will end on Tuesday April 30 and a number has also been set up. It is 02 43 62 64 15.

As a reminder, “Listeriosis is a disease that can be serious and has an incubation period of up to eight weeks”. The government website states that “serious forms with neurological complications and maternal or fetal damage” can sometimes occur in pregnant women.
