Energy check 2024: here is when eligible households will receive it in Gironde

The sending campaign energy checks began Tuesday April 2, 2024. In Gironde, eligible households, that is to say the most modest, have still not received this welcome boost. Don’t panic, they just haven’t been sent yet.

Not all departments receive energy checks at the same time. In Gironde, energy checks are sent between this Tuesday 16 and until Friday April 19.

Who is eligible?

The checks concern nearly six million beneficiaries in France. Their amount, of value from 48 to 277 euros, is calculated according to the reference tax income per consumption unit (RFR/UC). There is an online simulator to find out if you are eligible.

As their name suggests, they allow you to pay energy bills: electricity, natural gas, heat, domestic fuel oil. But also heating fuels (wood, biomass, pellets).

To use it, simply go to the website chequeenergie.gouv.fr, and access your beneficiary area. You can also send it to your supplier, in paper format, which will deduct it from your invoices.
