The Volvic bottling plant in Puy-de-Dôme was the victim of an arson attack this morning, around 6 a.m., Agence Radio learned this Wednesday evening from corroborating sources, confirming information from BFMTV.

According to the gendarmerie, it was an annex to the Volvic factory, a small building of around twenty square meters, which was affected by this malicious act this Wednesday morning. The gendarmerie reported an “explosion”.
On site, protest tags were found, with environmentalist messages like “water extractivism – no but water“. The also affected the factory’s electrical system.
