The Germaine-Tillion high school in Castelnaudary (Aude) was the victim of a bomb threat on Tuesday March 26.
An intervention by the police took place this Tuesday March 26 in a high school in Aude after a bomb threat, BFMTV learned from students at the Montpellier establishment and academy, confirming information from La Dépêche du Midi.
The events took place at the Germaine-Tillion high school in Castelnaudary (Aude). This Tuesday, around 3:15 p.m., the bell announcing recess is cut off by an anti-intrusion alarm.
The students first think of an exercise but quickly realize that this is not the case. They then barricade themselves in their classrooms with their teachers, in the dark, closing the shutters and getting under the tables, as required by protocol.
Classes confined for several hours
Several students were evacuated by firefighters after feeling unwell. The police intervened in the high school, an operation filmed by students.
Helicopters also flew over the establishment according to witnesses. The parents, very worried, gathered near the school where they waited to be able to collect their children. From 5:40 p.m., some classes began to be evacuated after nearly two and a half hours confined.
