The British band announced their reformation on Tuesday, August 27 after 15 years apart. A tour of the United Kingdom and Ireland has been announced.

Tickets are flying high. Oasis have announced new concert dates for Thursday, August 29, to meet “unprecedented demand” for tickets, as the British band announced they are reuniting after 15 years apart.

“Due to unprecedented demand, three new UK dates will be added to the Oasis Live ’25 tour,” the band said on their Instagram account.

The three concerts will take place on July 16 at Heaton Park in Manchester, on July 30 at Wembley in London, and on August 12 in Edinburgh, Scotland, all in 2025. Tickets for all concerts go on sale this Saturday, August 31, at 10 a.m. Paris time, but pre-registration has already been launched.

17 dates planned in total

The return to the stage of the two arch-enemies of rock, Liam and Noel Gallagher, is scheduled for July 4, 2025 in Cardiff, Wales. This will be followed, in particular, by four concerts in Manchester and four at Wembley.

In total, 17 concerts are now planned, all in the United Kingdom, Wales or Ireland. No dates are therefore scheduled in France, at least for the moment.

“Preparations are underway to take ‘Oasis Live ’25’ to other continents later next year,” the band said on their website.

“Despite speculation in some media outlets, Oasis will not be performing at Glastonbury in 2025 or any festival next year. The only way to see the band live will be during their Oasis Live ’25 world tour,” the duo said on their Instagram account on Wednesday.

“The guns have fallen silent”

Oasis, who marked the 1990s with their hits Wonder wall or Don’t look back in Angerannounced their reformation on the 30th anniversary of their debut album. Definitely Maybereleased on August 29, 1994.

The upcoming major tour marks the end of 15 years of feuding between the Gallagher brothers, via social media and through the media. Formed in 1991, the band split up in 2009 after yet another altercation.

As early as early 2023, Noel had kept the hope alive. “Never say never,” he said. Since then, fans have finally received the good news. “The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised,” they announced this week.
