“We have nothing to eat, it is extremely hot, the conditions are radically different from what we know in our everyday lives”: Emmanuelle Boisseau, a woman from Charente conquering Koh-Lanta on TF1

Starting this Tuesday, August 20, Emmanuelle Boisseau, 45, will represent Charente in “Koh-Lanta, la Tribu maudite” on TF1. Of course, it is impossible for her to tell us how far she has gotten in the show, due to her exclusive contract with the private channel. But we were able to talk with her.

Paradoxically, an idea fleetingly crosses the mind of the Charentaise, who has never felt comfortable in the yellow tribe: “Maybe it’s also a way to of their house”. To do this, it would be necessary to join the cursed tribe and then return to the game with the reds through a challenge. A competitor at heart, she mobilizes for the challenge against Ilyesse: “Physically, it’s a very tough test, and it took me a while to understand the principle”, she regrets. She bows out and must join the distressing cursed tribe: “I’m disappointed on a competitive level, but I quickly tell myself that all is not lost, and then Ilyesse is very nice to me, he has very kind words”.

“I am hyper-positive, because I am staying in the adventure.”

A hostile island

The island of the “cursed” has nothing to do with that of the yellow and red tribes: “Be careful, we are in the Philippines, the place is still heavenly”, Emmanuelle tempers, “but there is not much beach, the sand is all gray and wet, there are sea fleas everywhere and the ground is muddy”. In addition, the camp is “humid and not welcoming”. The adventurer makes the best of a bad situation: “The tribe is happy both that Ilyesse got out, because they had formed a bond with him, but also to meet me because I represent a new beginning in a way. There are fewer of us, there is no test of comfort, immunity and I am a little afraid of getting bored, but above all, I hope that there is one who is good at survival. I also know that my chance to get out of this is to find an anito in the river” (a small totem that would allow him to access a challenge to get back into the adventure).

However, things quickly get complicated and Emmanuelle realizes that egos are also well developed in this “cursed” tribe, especially that of Mélissa, who gets upset over nothing. “At one point, I wasn’t really happy because I saw myself leaving,” says Emmanuelle, who followed last night’s episode in a small group, still keeping the outcome of her adventure a secret, “but now, I feel a little hope, I’m hyperpositive, because I’m staying in the adventure.” More, next Tuesday night on TF1.
