Aidan Marak, contemporary Moroccan artist, explores engaged themes such as freedom of expression, gender equality and the reappropriation of artisanal traditions. Her works capture the power and emotion of women, resonating with contemporary African feminist struggles. By deconstructing established norms, Aidan invites us to celebrate diversity and human resilience.

Ange Dakouo, Malian artist, draws inspiration from traditional textile techniques and protective symbols to create works that pay homage to the ancestral beliefs of West Africa. These unique creations, at the crossroads of and ritual, evoke protective amulets and bear witness to the preservation of a rich cultural heritage.

Through this selection of works, So Art Gallery wishes to offer an immersive and inspiring artistic experience. By celebrating distinct traditions and narratives, the gallery hopes to engage visitors in reflection on their own heritage and the importance of memory in constructing our identities.
