The people of Nice were the most generous! 492.45 kilos of yellow coins were collectedduring the RTL Challenge, launched on the occasion of the 36th edition of Operation Yellow Pieces. The challenge took place from January 10 to 20, 2025.
The capital of the Alpes-Maritimes was in competition with Valenciennes, Orléans, Rennes and Bayonne. These four cities did not stand out with respectively: 356.39, 228, 184.43 and 124.80 kilos! To deposit their yellow coins, residents of the four cities had to go to the following post offices:
Nice: Nice Grimaldi post office. 20, rue Maréchal Joffre (06000 Nice).
Valenciennes: Valenciennes post office Town Hall. 2, Place du Marché aux Herbes (59300 Valenciennes).
Orléans: Orléans Place de Gaulle post office. Place du Général de Gaulle (45000 Orléans).
Rennes: Rennes République post office. Place de la République (35000 Rennes).
Bayonne: Bayonne Labat post office. 11, rue Jules Labat (64100 Bayonne).

RTL soon in Nice
To thank the generosity of the town of Alpes-Maritimes for this challenge, RTL will soon be relocating to Nice.
