After a prosperous year for French cinema, the year ahead once again looks promising. This is evidenced by six particularly anticipated film projects, where we went to spend a lot of time.

Sunexpected but deserved success of great works of authorship such as The Story of Souleymane (to see or rewatch during the Télérama Cinema Festival); market share in theaters reaching a record level of 45%, driven in particular by the triumphs ofA little something extra a you Comte de Monte Cristo…2024 was a prosperous year for French cinema. And 2025 looks very promising, given the six highly anticipated films including Telerama takes you behind the scenes of manufacturing. Isabelle Huppert plays Liliane Bettencourt (or, at least, her fictional double) in The richest woman in the world. Jodie Foster, the most French of American stars, will be psychoanalyst for Rebecca Zlotowski. Robin Campillo shot the film that his friend Laurent Cantet, who died last April, was to direct. Alex Lutz immersed himself in the prose of Nicolas Mathieu to adapt Connemara. Karin Viard and Lætitia Dosch, among other renowned actresses, have placed their trust in a 28-year-old neo-director, Mélisa Godet, to star in her social chronicle on the Maison des femmes de Saint-Denis. And Stéphane Demoustier dared a crazy bet, but oh so exciting: to reconstruct the eventful construction of the Grande Arche de la Défense in a field in Seine-et-… Casting, filming, editing: Telerama got involved behind the scenes of these films.
