Charles, one of the most noticed young talents of this season of the Star Academyleft its mark. At only 18 years old, this singer from Côtes-d’Armor has won over teachers and audiences alike thanks to his exceptional voice and impressive artistic mastery. And it was not won. Charles had a difficult start, due to a lack of confidence. But with the help and support of Sofia Morgavi, his singing teacher, the young academician revealed himself during evaluations and bonuses. His impeccable interpretation of difficult pieces, such as SOS of an earthling in distress by Daniel Balavoine or Caruso by Luciano Pavarotti, revealed his talent.

“I couldn’t see myself at all”

Despite his elimination during the bonus on January 11, 2025, where Marine won his ticket to the final, Charles left the adventure with a smile and in the company of his friends on the set. Since then, he has continued interviews to talk about this extraordinary experience. During these moments, Charles did not feel at ease… “It’s torture and not at all pleasant to watch. But it’s what allows us to be corrected”he admitted. Over time, Charles managed to better understand this moment. “At the beginning, I couldn’t see myself at all, but it got better towards the end.”

A turbulent transition but full of gratitude

Like any former academician, Charles is currently experiencing a return to reality that is intense to say the least. Between television interviews, radio appearances and publications on social networks, the young singer is the center of attention. In an Instagram post posted on January 15, 2025, he shared his first impressions since its release. He wrote: “I wanted to thank the Star Academy and all the wonderful people who accompanied me during this adventure (…) Thanks to you, I was surrounded by kindness and what could have been difficult became the most beautiful story of my life to date today.” Charles also praised the professors, his fellow academicians, as well as the production team for their determining role in his development. It’s certain that he won’t forget this adventure!
