Here we go again for a year of activities at the village association café. After wishing all its members a Happy New Year, the managers of the association café invited them to come and celebrate together the inauguration of the quarter-grand piano which has just been installed at the association café. And it was in the company of its owner himself, the pianist-composer and jazz arranger Martin-Joey Dine, that this piano-jazz concert took place on Friday, January 10, at 7 p.m.
For more than an hour, the artist delighted the audience with his pianistic verve by performing a recital with influences from Michel Legrand, Charlie Parker, Petrucciani and some of his compositions, to the delight of the large audience who came to appreciate this break musical.
Martin-Joey Dine will perform on Sunday March 9, at 5:30 p.m., at the Jérôme-Cuzin center in Auch, to perform the entirety of his new album, the 7th, entitled “Music heals the world” (information and reservations at the Auch tourist office).
This piano will remain in the community café until Martin-Joey Dine, its owner, finds a place for it in his home. In the meantime, all amateur or professional pianists who have ants in their fingers are invited to come and try this new piano every Friday, from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., and to have a good time together.
