What about adults? Formulas combining resourcefulness and new technologies are now multiplying so that books make music more and more original. So, for example, since their beginnings in 2010, Asphalte editions have placed a list of pieces chosen by their authors on one of the flaps of their fiction books. You can listen to it on their site thanks to a specific YouTube playlist and it shapes the identity of their releases. “We wanted to stand out, explains editor Estelle Durand, do not confine yourself to the literary universe of an author. What is very nice is to see a customer buy a particular book in the salon because the playlist speaks to them.” For example, that of Plexiglasthe novel by Antoine Philias brings together the Wampas, the Clash, Katerine and the Breton cold wave group Gwendoline.
