The Pavillon des Aulnes hosted Friday January 10, 2025 the traditional vows ceremony of Vaudreuil (Eure). In addition to the many residents present to attend the speech of the mayor of the town, Bernard Leroythe evening brought together other important figures, notably François-Xavier Priollaud, mayor of Louviers, and Marc-Antoine Jamet, mayor of Val-de-Reuil. Also present were Nicolas Lebas, sub-prefect of Andelys, Pascaline Tesio, commander of the Louviers gendarmerie, Sarah Dogan, police commissioner, as well as the captain of the Louviers-Le Vaudreuil fire station.
The economy and employment in the spotlight
During an interactive and rhythmic evening, a facilitator guided Bernard Leroy in the presentation of the major subjects. At the heart of the discussions:economy and employment, notably thanks to large local companies like Aptar, Schneider and Hermès, which continue to contribute to the dynamism of the region.
Growing success for Carré Saint-Cyr
Another pride for the mayor, the success of Carré Saint-Cyr, dedicated to artistic crafts. Since its opening in May 2023 in the deconsecrated church, this place has welcomed more than 10,000 visitors in 2024.
The exhibitions located in the deconsecrated church saw the participation of more than 10,000 people in 2024. A real success, and the acoustics of the first concert of the festival in Normandy at the end of August showed great qualities!
The Carré Saint-Cyr will soon host a musical event proposed by the YAKO quartet, which will perform on Sunday January 26, 2025, with two concerts mixing classical music, pop and rock.
-A dynamic local business
Commercial development has not been forgotten. Among the new initiatives, we include the opening of the restaurant La Table d’Alva, the florist Les Pivoines du Vaudreuil, and the upcoming inauguration, on April 1, of the hotel residence Les Lodges de Socrate, ideally located between the town hall and the greenway.
Concours photo local
During the evening, the winners of the first photo competition organized by the town hall have been revealed. Among the participants, 22 adults and 2 children were rewarded. An exhibition allowed visitors to admire the 24 selected photos, taken by residents of the town.
Innovation and heritage
To better inform its citizens, the town hall presented the Panneau Pocket application, a digital tool allowing you to instantly receive municipal information on your phone.
Finally, Bernard Leroy wanted to warmly thank Colette Bardy for her impressive historical research work on Vaudreuilcovering a period from the last century to the beginning of the 21st century. The evening concluded around the traditional friendship drink.
