La Fontaine aux Chevaux, the umbrella association for amateur theater in Lanester, held its general meeting on Saturday January 11, 2025, in the Docks. This year, the association brings together 202 members, including 35 who take workshop courses.
“With 27 registered, the restart is correct for the youth workshops, despite the multitude of associative and school offers. On the other hand, the restart is timid for adult workshops. It’s a classic phenomenon of a year without an association forum,” notes Jérôme Aguerre, the president.
Kerhervy Festival from June 20 to 29, 2025
The association’s main activity is the organization of the Kerhervy amateur theater festival. The last edition was a success with 7,000 spectators. The 42nd edition will take place from June 20 to 29. For 2025, the association is considering opening. “We want to work with other structures for moments outside the festival, to bring theater to specific audiences,” explains Josiane Tanguy, vice-president.
Consideration will also be given to the opportunities to return to regular indoor programming, outside of the festival.
