Sylvie Châtelais, photographer based on rue au Char in Lisieux (Calvados), received a bronze medal for her participation in the 2024 edition of the “L’Été des Portraits” competition.

Organized every 2 years since 2004, the “L’Été des Portraits” festival, which now attracts professionals from all over Europe, celebrated its 20th anniversary this year during its tenth edition. For the occasion, Sylvie Châtelais, portrait photographer, sent three photos taken in her studio.
One of his portraits was chosen by the jury, made up of professionals from the field of photography, to receive the bronze medal. “A double pride” for the photographer and mother who knew how to “highlight the subject” which is none other than her daughter.
Always driven by reuse, Sophie Châtelais put together an outfit “from recycled clothing and accessories mainly from the 80s/90s”.
Exhibited in the Allianz Eustache insurance reception office in Lisieux, the award-winning photo does not leave customers indifferent, and they do not hesitate to share it with the agency advisor.
