The musical meeting of Pléneuf-Val-André returns for 3 concerts in 2025. This is Music O Val, a festival which proved itself last season.
From fall 2023 to spring 2024, the cultural event hosted exceptional artistsinternationally renowned, who began to carve out a great reputation for Music O Val.
Exceptional artists
African Jazz Roots opened the program in November 2023.
The breathtaking electro music duo, Bumcello, blew the audience away last March.
In April, it was the Chemirani quartet, a family of Iranian origin virtuosos of Persian percussion known throughout the world who bewitched the Pleneuvian scene.
And the festival closed in May with the fireworks of Biréli Lagrène, “the best guitarist in the world”.
“The best orchestra on the planet” January 17
The programming which is announced in 2025 does not seem less breathtaking. It kicks off in apotheosis on January 17 with Andy Emler and MégaOctet.
-This “little big big band” of nine musicians in the form of a laboratory of extraordinary human and sonic alchemy.
Described as the French Franck Zappa, Andy Emler and his MegaOctet, described as “the best orchestra on the planet” by Le Monde, it promises a memorable evening on the borders of jazz, rock, funk and contemporary music.
