Pamela Anderson was attacked on a plane after being mistaken for someone else.
Several years ago, the actress was spotted by an angry man on a flight and he allegedly “tried to attack” her. It later turned out that he had mistaken her for a member of the band Dixie Chicks.
As part of the Happy Sad Confused podcast, Pamela explained: One time I was on a flight and this guy came up to me and said, ‘Do you know what this country has done for you? ‘
And I was like, Oh, my God. What have I done?’ And then I turned towards him and he growled at me. The flight attendant had to handcuff him to the chair because he was trying to attack me. It’s true. And finally, he thought I was a Dixie Chick. Do you remember this story? I was almost killed on a plane! »
Pamela added that the incident affected her so much that she was afraid of flying for a long time.
She added: “When you turn around and he looks at you [d’un air renfrogné]. It wasn’t much but I was afraid to fly after that! »
In 2003, the Dixie Chicks were the subject of heated controversy when Natalie Maines condemned President George W. Bush and the invasion of Iraq during a concert in London.
