In total, they are demanding 14 million in punitive damages.
On Wednesday, Judge Chantal Tremblay, who is presiding over this supertrial, will hear the testimony of Martine Roy, the former sister-in-law of Mr. Rozon – the sister of his ex-spouse Danielle Roy. Martine Roy alleges that Gilbert Rozon raped her in 1995. She is suing him for 1.35 million.
This is the 9the and final testimony of the plaintiffs in this case. The defendant, Mr. Rozon, will testify for at least a week to answer the accusations of the nine women. Legal issues will be debated in parallel.
We will also hear peripheral witnesses, who will corroborate the versions defended by the defendants on the one hand, then by Mr. Rozon on the other.
