For this concert in Cotentin, it’s better to bring… a pillow and a deckchair!

We no longer present the principle of acoustic nap“musical sweetness”, by Bastien Lallemant, as regulars know it today. This year 2025the extended nap returns on Saturday January 11 has the Hôtel-Dieu from Valognes (Manche).

Comforters, pillows or other blankets will therefore be welcome. Deckchairs, which some people like, will also be offered. The surprise lies in the choice of Bastien’s guests, to play with them improvised music inspired by everyone’s repertoire.

At nap time

Bastien Lallemant created this musical concept in 2010and he registers this meeting every year in January in Valognes, among his dates which take him into several large cities in France. As its name suggests, this musical nap takes place during nap time.

The audience is invited to expand to listen to a concertmusicians play at the back of the stage, performing music, stories and fiction without any applause breaking the spell.

The nap lasts about an hour, it is advisable to bring your pillow: it is not impossible to get caught up in it and dive into the nap for good.
