Filming will take place in Morocco, the United Kingdom and Italy. Odysseynew film by the famous British-American director Christopher Nolan, to whom we owe the trilogy of “Batman”, “Inception”, “Interstellar” or more recently “Oppenheimer”, rewarded among others by the Oscars for best film, best director and best actor.
The film, which is scheduled to be released in theaters in July 2026, is an adaptation of Homer’s epic poem and is already announced as the director’s most expensive film. Its filming, which will use the latest generation IMAX format, is scheduled for January to April 2025, largely in natural settings in Morocco, Christopher Nolan being notoriously allergic to computer-generated images and other green backgrounds.
