Tatiana Silva is leaving the TF1 weather presentation for a few weeks! The presenter is absent for her maternity leave, as highlighted by her colleague Jacques Legros in the 1 p.m. news on January 3, 2025.
It’s August 2024, on the set of Bruce Toussaint’s morning show, Bonjour !who Tatiana Silva confirmed to be pregnant with her very first child. At 39, the Belgian presenter from Molenbeek welcomed this late pregnancy with great joy. Very present on social networks, she has regularly documented her journey.
Tatiana Silva: a pregnancy with obstacles
In mid-December, Tatiana Silva confided on her Instagram account that she had taken blood tests and received results below her expectations. In fact, she learned that she had a significant iron deficiency. The weather presenter elaborated: “(…) My ferritin has decreased. So in fact, taking cocoa had no impact. It’s difficult to say but it hasn’t increased my iron, quite the opposite.” These iron problems may be common during pregnancy, but they are not easy to manage. Still on Instagram, Tatiana Silva finally explained that the only possibility for her situation to stabilize was to add iron supplements to her cocoa diet. A few days after this announcement, the time for maternity leave has come for the mother-to-be!

On January 3, 2025, the 1 p.m. presenter, Jacques Legros, who replaced Marie-Sophie Lacarrau during the end-of-year holidays, closed his television news with a little note addressed to Tatiana Silva. “Right away the weather forecast for Tatiana Silva, who will be leaving us for some time. But we will find her in a few weeks accompanied by a pretty baby”, launched Jacques Legros enthusiastically, before adding with an emotional smile: “We kiss you very much Tatiana!”. A nice attention to the one who has presented the weather report since 2017 on TF1. And to replace her during these few weeks of absence, Daniela Prepeliuc, a fellow Belgian, was appointed!
