Were the works of Camilla Läckberg familiar to you?
Not at all, because I’m not a big fan of thrillers. But I read them before starting filming. As I am very anxious, I need a lot, a lot of preparation in advance. The more I work, the more I become my character, and the more my fears disappear. Without that, I would be petrified when I arrived on set. You should know that I used to be very shy. My mother made me try theater when I was 7, but when I walked on stage, not a word came out of my mouth. That was my first experience with the stage!
Aren’t you more relaxed with time and experience?
Maybe a little, because now I master my “art” better. That is to say, I know where I need to go to get the character in hand. But I can still have my heart beating so loudly that the sound engineers can hear it. I’m not even talking about theater! Before I go on stage, I want to die. I say to myself: “But you’re completely crazy, why did you become an actress?” » Finally, you get started and, as you have worked, the pleasure begins. I believe that there are quite a few very shy people among the actors, who have chosen this path to fight evil with evil.

Maybe yes, unconsciously. In any case, it was vital for me to find a means of expression to get all my emotions out. I am HPE (high emotional potential, editor’s note). When I was younger, I was overwhelmed by my feelings. The smallest thing took on enormous proportions in my body and in my heart. It is a power that invades you and paralyzes you. Over time, I managed to tame and understand my hypersensitivity.
