TV program: The Count of Monte Cristo, The Box of Secrets… what to watch on TV this evening?

On Canal+ we watch at 9:10 p.m., The film Le Comte de Monte Cristo. Imprisoned following a dark scheme, Edmond Dantès escapes from the Château d’If after fourteen years of detention. Having become immensely rich, he returns under a false identity in order to take revenge on the men who stole his life. He will be merciless… In the title role, Pierre Niney embodies with great conviction a Dantès equal to the avenging hero of literature. We all the more regret the gently theatrical interpretation and the lack of breath of an ultra academic production, without fever or passion.

And 9:10 p.m 3 draw, entertainment The secret box. Faustine Bollaert welcomes Lara Fabian, Théo Curin and Michel Fugain, who will have the pleasure of discovering, throughout the evening, tailor-made surprises with the help of their loved ones. The public will discover personal archives of the guests, exclusive images filmed with their entourage and also try to find the identity of a mystery guest.

TF1 put on at 9:10 p.m. on, the game Gladiators. Eight challengers, four men and four women, compete remotely by competing against the Gladiators in four XXL games, both physical and demanding. These spectacular games test their power, agility, skill and above all their courage. The challengers do their best to score the most points in order to gain an advantage during the final event called the “Eliminator”.

We end this selection with, and the cult film Beauty and the Beast at 9:10 p.m. M6. In 18th century France, Belle, a courageous young girl, leaves her native village to take her father’s place in a castle occupied by a monstrous beast… Without competing with Cocteau’s masterpiece, this Disney version of the classic by Mme Leprince de Beaumont, is a pure delight: beauty of the settings, fluidity of the animation, friendly winks and stunning music (Oscar-winning): a truly enchanting experience for young and old.
