Highly anticipated albums, stars we want to see again, gigantic concerts… The year 2025 promises to be very eclectic musically. Starting with the one that moved the entire planet for its big comeback in 2024. In a sequined dress, perched on the Eiffel Tower, Céline Dion performed The Hymn to Love by Edith Piaf, Friday July 26, for the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. There is nothing fixed for the moment, but, nine years after her last album, the Canadian star suffering from the syndrome of the stiff person is working on a new opus. She is also preparing for a return to the stage in 2026.
Superstar albums
Another star present at the Olympic Games ceremony, Lady Gaga is also on track for a new album, which does not yet have a release date, unlike The Weeknd. The Canadian artist will release his new album Hurry Up Tomorrow next January 24. A new opus that he announced with a mysterious video published on YouTube. A succession of black and white horror images set against a backdrop of distressing music and demonic voice-overs. In another style, Lana Del Rey will release her new album The Right Person Will Stay the 21st of 2025.
French speakers are not left out
On the French-speaking side, we will be entitled to a new album by Michel Polnareff. Sexcetera will be released on February 28, after a not necessarily convincing single. It will also be the opportunity to “behind tour” of the artist, with a first date at Printemps de Bourges. There will also be a new album from Kompromat on January 24, titled PLДYING / PRДYINGtwo extracts of which have already been published. Also coming: albums from Cerrone, Scratch Massive, Mathieu Boogaerts and Voyou, for the sure values of the French scene. As for the Belgian rapper Damso, he will release I lied on May 30, announced as the last opus of his career.

Extraordinary concerts
On stage, some highly anticipated names among pop stars, such as the British Charli XCX at the We Love Green festival in June and Chappell Roan at Rock en Seine in August. Dua Lipa will do several dates in France. Superstar Billie Eilish will give two concerts at the Accor Arena, on June 10 and 11.
In terms of gigantism, the Stade de France will host concerts by DJ Snake, Jul or Linkin Park with their new singer Emily Armstrong. A great tour for composer Hans Zimmer, a never-ending tour for Zaho De Sagazan who will perform ten Olympias in September — all sold out. And a return from which we don’t know what to expect: the Sex Pistols, without Johnny Rotten, but with rocker Frank Carter on vocals, at Vieilles charrues in August, 48 years after the release of their only studio album.
