The 49e edition of the Christmas Circus will end next weekend in the Leclerc parking lot in Saint-Vincent-de-Tyrosse. Ten numbers were selected by Place au cirque (from Salies-de-Béarn in 64), for a show directed and signed by Joseph Bouglione, director of the Cirque d’hiver de Paris. The show lasts two hours and the sessions will take place on Saturday January 4 at 4 p.m. and Sunday January 5 at 10:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
On the program: seven acrobats from Morocco will thrill the public with their performances, the Montico duo will make people shiver with an incredible knife-throwing number, there will be hula-hooping and antipodism with two female artists from ‘exception. Spectators will have to concentrate to see one of the fastest jugglers in Europe at work: Sonny Caveagna.
Performances and laughter
The Jasters duo will dazzle spectators with their performances on rollerblades. We will travel with a unique aerial act in Europe thanks to artists from Chile and Argentina. The clowns The Kinos will be there for the children as will the comedian Bryan Gambi, who will delight adults and young people alike.
Exceptionally this year, the show will be presented by the experienced Christophe Ivanes. Karl Lassus, who usually officiates as Ringmaster, decided to leave his microphone to better prepare for the 50e anniversary of the event in 2025. It is also preparing the arrival in the spring of a new creation entitled “The Circus of Dreams”, which will perform from April 20 to May 25 in the region.
