Classical in a contemporary music room. Saturday January 4, 2025, Four seasons will plunge the Arsenal into another dimension.
A special gig because its management is entrusted to six business leaders. They were trained by business leader and conductor Virak Chhuor, originally from Cambodia and living in Bulgaria.
Unprecedented!
“They will share and introduce through a speech the different movements of the Four seasons. This is the culmination of their leadership training created by Virak,” presents the conductor of the Perche Sartois symphony orchestra, Pierre Ledru.
“I met him and we discussed our visions of music and conducting. Putting orchestra and business management in parallel, that exists, but putting bosses, who are not necessarily musicians, in charge, is that unprecedented?! », exclaims the one who will be on the viola for this concert.
Four musicians will play Vivaldi’s famous concertos alongside him. Among them, Gilles Lefèvre will take on the role of solo violin.
Benefits for Opera in the countryside
The profits from the concert will be donated to the Opéra en Campagne association, the aim of which is to create Carmen, on May 23, 24 and 25, in the old Tirard factory.
“This is one more action for Opéra in the countryside. We are trying to increase the number of activities to make our project visible,” says Pierre Ledru, who will direct the orchestra during the show.
A support committee made up of people who wish to help and finance the project is in the process of being created. Its goal?? Organize a big evening for future patrons.
