By creating beans with Carnival posters in the West, the Porée bakery wishes to support the short circuit and highlight the great festival which unites all Scaërois. It presents, for the second time, a collection of French beans. “We chose to highlight the Cavalcade to celebrate our local culture and thank the participants and organizers for this magnificent celebration. This unique collection, produced in partnership with the Cavalcade committee, testifies to our attachment to our commune. We want to offer residents an original way to connect to their tradition by sharing friendly moments around the traditional galette des Rois,” underlined Doriane and her fiancé, Kylian, in the profession since the age of 14, alongside of his parents and grandparents.
On the nine beans in the collection, we find carnival posters between 1950 and 2023, which announce this festive moment with its magnificent floats, carnivalists and brass bands. These posters were created by artists or designers who are inspired by the themes of the event.
French manufacturing
Each bean in this collection is carefully designed by Panessiel, the leading manufacturer of French beans, in porcelain and decorated one by one by hand in Grenoble, in a workshop dedicated to people with disabilities.
