The president of the “Petits Chœurs d’Art y Show” association, Michèle Dupuy, had the idea of promoting the writing workshop on the airwaves of Oxygène FM radio, whose studio is located at the MJC, on Suzanne Ketfi’s show, “Oxynews”. On March 25, 2022, this sociocultural association set up this workshop. It is, in a way, the legal form of the rue Piconnière collective, located in the Loumet district, that Michèle founded at the end of 2012, in order to combat frequent incivility.
After resolving this problem and carrying out the redevelopment work in the Loumet district by the municipality, Michèle made a promise to the town hall to set up an association aimed at enlivening the district, in particular the city center. Among the initiatives carried out by Michèle, a writing workshop stands out by bringing together many participants. This workshop aims to break isolation by building social ties and attracting residents to local businesses. Since the meetings, which take place every two weeks, on Thursdays, take place in various businesses in the city that can accommodate them.
During this workshop, participants are inspired by a theme, a sentence or a set of words to write. It is always a fun meeting where friendships have developed. Catherine, Sabrina and Sabine, members of the association, accompanied the president during this presentation. They presented the texts created during the most recent session of the workshop.
