What better way to start the year than to come listen to and, without a doubt, warmly applaud Lydie Solomon who will perform this Saturday, January 4 at FNAC. She will sing “Qu’on se le dire” a jazz recital. Certainly, the place is unusual for this type of concert but Lydie appreciates the proximity with her audience and, here, the barrier of the stage will not exist. Our region, where she now resides, discovered Lydie Solomon in November 2010 when she came to present the film “Vivre” with its director Yvon Marciano, who unfortunately died a year later. This occasion was for many that of the revelation of the talent of an artist who combines gifts: she is an actress, she is a singer; However, she is above all a very great pianist with a world reputation. She has performed with immense success in the most prestigious concert halls in France and around the world. Her international reputation does not prevent Lydie Solomon from being simple and approachable and ready to be of service, with humility, by accompanying religious services on the organs and harmoniums of our small country churches.
A concert not to be missed; two performances: at 4:30 p.m. and 6 p.m.; free entry.
