More hypochondriac than ever, the policeman played by Gil Alma since the launch of the series by France Télévisions, does not drink wine. What a shame! Especially since the suspect number, Bruno Koehler, with a touchy character, pampers his vines. It is the actor Bruno Solo who plays this visually impaired cornered wine grower, cousin of the commissioner Frédérique Koehler – César Wagner’s hierarchical superior. Which puts the latter in a complicated situation.
Directed by Émilie and Sarah Barbault, the episode Koehler Grapes is broadcast this January 3. “I’m a complete fan of Bruno Solo, I watched Coffee camera, says Gil Alma. We both come from short comedy programs. He’s a great partner, a well of knowledge. Playing an almost blind person is not easy, he immediately knew how to place his gaze.”
Gil Alma regrets that his character does not evolve. “We could try to understand why César Wagner is so distressed,” he remarks. “We touched on this a bit in a sequence during his cousin’s wedding. There was a story about climbing a scaffolding and falling. We ended up in the hospital and his mother came to see him,” Gil Alma rewinds. “When Caesar is sick, his mother loves him. We can do investigations with moments of life, of comedy too,” he insists.
The actor plays roles in series for France Télévision. ” With In beautiful sheets, we go even further than Don’t do this, don’t do that, enthuses Gil Alma who plays the leading role. It’s completely lost, I have rarely seen a comedy so well written.” Release scheduled for September 2025.
Let’s return to César Wagner: the immense actor Rufus returns in the episode Hgold game broadcast on January 10. We find there Fanny Cottençon (the mother of César, mayor of Strasbourg) as well as the Strasbourg actress and comedian Antonia de Rendinger in the role of Philomène Fisher. Alongside their boss, Léa, Samia and Greg plunge into the world of the water sports center following the murder of one of the doctors.
Future filming is scheduled for next spring. César Wagner and his team will investigate among the military and in a famous cabaret in Alsace.
