You have one last chance left. Only one week left to enjoy the 17e edition of the Lyon Contemporary Art Biennalebefore the closure of the nine exhibitions Sunday January 5, 2025.
Deployed in several locations, near 280 works produced by 78 artists are to be discovered mainly at the Grandes Locos de La Mulatière, but also at the Museum of Fine Arts, the Maclyon, the Cité Internationale de la Gastronomie and the Bullukian Foundation, the Institute of Contemporary Art of Villeurbanne as well as in unusual places such as the LPA Saint-Antoine car park or even the Gallo-Roman museum in Vienna.
Lyon Contemporary Art Biennale: a pass to access nine exhibition venues
Sculpture, painting, assemblage, weaving, projections: the contemporary art of the Lyon Biennale manifests itself in different forms. Visitors can find works that are both plastic and political, such as Raise your finger when you speakan installation of Myriam Mihindou aux Grandes Locos. Visits and creative workshops of DIY and weaving dedicated to children also take place during school holidays at Grandes Locos.
All of these creations revolve around the theme: The voice of the rivers/Crossing the water. The exhibition sites are crossed by the question of relationships and welcoming others.
To access the sites, you must have a pass at the price of 18 euros (10 euros for the reduced rate). The pass is undated and gives access once to each of nine exhibition venues. It is valid over the entire duration of the exhibitioni.e. until January 5, 2025.
Exceptional closing at 5 p.m. on December 31 at Grandes locos and Maclyon. The exhibition will not be accessible on 1is January 2025.
