What does Christmas mean to you? The family reunion? Friends? A good hot chocolate by the fire? In It's good herethis is all that awaits you! Alex Vizorek is a bit like family since he is from Brussels and has already hosted a game (The Fry) for our antenna. He is also a friend that we would like to have at our table, but he will decline the invitation because “Christmas is about family! It's the only day I block my calendar to be with my family.”.
In the show, every Sunday, Clarence Fabri invites columnists who come to make the link between our guest and the Hauts-de-France region. Someone who started with a business school, then a journalism school, quickly felt that neither of these two professions was for him: “I insist on young people, because even though I graduated from both schools, I realized that I didn't like it. Brussels or Paris?
He bursts out laughing. J‘was going to say Brussels, obviously, because if they lose me somewhere, that's where they'll put me back, but without Paris, I wouldn't have had this career, so, come on, it's a bit like dad and mom, but fiscally Paris, unfortunately.
The stage or a radio studio?
The scene! Because the people are there! I think that when there is nothing left, there will still be the scene. Because there have been theaters and shows since Antiquity. I think that when people no longer go to the cinema, no longer listen to the media, there will still be scenes, and that's when I feel the best.
Party animal or homebody?
Party animal, but it's not good, so in moderation. But yes, in Lille too! So, there is this kind of rule, Martine (Editor’s note: Aubry)if you're listening to us, that bars have to close at a certain time… I didn't like it! I preferred before! So maybe for Christmas you can give us a new law.
Beer or fries?
Oh… You have to imagine that only one of the two remains? Come on beer, but if there's only fries left, that's fine too!
For you, is Christmas with your family or under a blanket?
With family! Frankly, I'm not crazy about family celebrations, meetings, obligations, eating that, saying such and such things at such and such times… But Christmas is the only day when I really do it! I'm never on stage at Christmas. On the other hand, I love being on stage at New Year's Eve, that way I avoid New Year's parties. We have a lot of fun, people are in a good mood, they are happy, and I would like to be nowhere elsewhere, but Christmas is with family!

The current news for Alex Vizorek is the release of his third illustrated book The story of the suppository that wanted to save Christmas published by Michel Lafon. A real Christmas story that will make young and old laugh! But it’s also his one-man show To Life.
Started in 2021, it will be at the Théâtre Sébastopol in Lille on January 7, 2025, and the last ofTo Life will take place in Brussels on January 25. To the question “are you afraid of death”, which is the theme of this show to die of laughterhe replied: “So, I always answer no, but I believe that if I devote 1 hour and 50 minutes of the show to wanting to laugh about it, it means yes… I did everything to make it a show about life.”.
