The announcements follow one another on the side of Carcassonne Festival (Aude), whose reputation transcends borders. After Alanis Morissette, Eddy Mitchell or Robert Plant, the organizers revealed the arrival of a… dancer.
A tribute to Paco de Lucía
But not just any one of course. It is about “the greatest representative of flamenco ballet in the world”, Sara Baras. She will play at the Jean-Deschamps theater on July 4, 2025 at 9:30 p.m. She will present “Vuela”, an exceptional show dedicated to the greatest flamenco guitarist, Paco de Lucía.
The one which holds, among other things, the record for the greatest number of performances (more than 200) in the history of the Champs-Elysées theater in Paris, will propose a choreographic journey composed of 15 pieces.
She thus joins some big names in music, living legends or stars in the making, in the 2025 program of the Carcassonne Festival: Alanis MorissetteEddy Mitchell, Robert PlantBen Harper, Soprano, Santa, Jean-Louis AubertLamomali or even Gojira…
