Karina finished her My Mother, Your Father adventure with David.
Both bachelors had their children’s approval in choosing their partner, but did they date after the show?
« Inside the show, there was nothing “fake”. I got there, we laughed, we had fun together, I got to know him and all that. On the other hand, as I have always mentioned – but it was not necessarily shown on TV – David was not necessarily the type of man, usually, in my life, who will hook me. »
She adds: “ But we agree that, at some point, we have to open our horizons and everything. David was really super nice, a nice person and all that. We had fun together. We had a connection in a friendly sense. »
We met twice afterwards. I think it didn’t work, both for him and for me. It didn’t fit in with what we’re looking for in a romantic relationship.
Has she found love since? “ I am always a heart to take. No, I haven’t found love. »
As Karina arrived at the end of the adventure, she did not create friendships as strong as some of the other participants. “ [Quand je suis arrivée,] there was already chemistry that was integrated at the girls’ level. Sandy was my inner female crush. I always said it was my rainbow. She is 100% herself. She’s a beautiful person, Sandy. I haven’t seen anyone like that since my return. »
« I resumed my daily life, my route, my work, my friendships », she continues. “ I’m on the road a lot. I’m still quite busy. I am involved in the Charles-Bruneau Foundation. I have fundraisers. I have just arrived from the 24 hours of Tremblant. I am still very active. I didn’t have the chance to meet them. I spoke with François on the phone. A very beautiful person, a beautiful human. I wrote to Maurice. I was happy for him, but I didn’t see anyone as such again. Basically, it’s correct. I arrived at the end. It’s not the same thing… »
