To taaaaaaaable! It’s been a long time since you heard this phrase echoing through your . Four years to be exact.

If you hear it, it means that the Lepics and the Bouleys are back. This Wednesday, December 18, 2024, Don’t do this, don’t do that comes back with We’re going to walk on the Moontwo new 52-minute episodes broadcast on 2 from 9:05 p.m.

And be careful, the scenario is ambitious. The “Boulpics” as they are called are embarking… for the Moon.

The Boulpics on the Moon

After the success of the last Christmas episode in 2020, the family TV film from France Télévisions has the right to a new story. THE pitch ? The children have grown up again and the parents have gotten older. Christophe, Tiphaine, Elliot and the others even find that their parents are become too “planplan”.

To shake them up a little, the Bouley and Lepic children register their parents in a big competition organized by l’European Space Agency (ESA) which aims to train non-professional citizens to go to the Moon.

On paper, it sounds crazy. Behind the scenes, the scenario was prepared with great seriousness since it was written in partnership with the ESA for best transcribe the conditions of the astronauts.

“We were looking to benefit from their expertise for the key scenes represented by the training, flight or lunar exit phases,” comments Guillaume Renouil, the producer, in a press release from France Télévisions. Esa even helped the film crews build a space shuttle larger than life.
