Scheduled by the Espaces Culturels Villefranchois, a show is scheduled for Sunday, December 22, at 5 p.m., at
Bastides Theater.
After a success at the Avignon 2023 festival and weeks of performances in Parisian theaters, the Villefranche public will be able to discover the musical: Virginie et Paul.
Theater, songs, music combine to offer us an entertaining, high-quality show. Theater within the theater, we are going to attend the rehearsal of a play entitled: Virginie and Paul, two people who invite their friends whose names are… Virginie and Paul to dinner. Nothing is going to be simple… Two actors will play these four characters. They are also singers and they are accompanied by three musicians: a pianist, a double bassist and a multi-instrumentalist, the latter who plays the sax, the clarinet and the flute is of Aveyron origin. “They will transport us into a very “jazzy” musical atmosphere which bathes this incredible story,” say the organizers. “So, after witnessing Santa Claus’ descent from the top of the collegiate church, come together to the Théâtre des Bastides to have an excellent time of theater and music and to “bring away with a smile on the lips of the adventures of Virginie and Paul”.
