The Forges-les-Eaux association (Seine-Maritime) looked back at the year 2023 and 2024, and announced its programming for 2025 and even two names pour 2026.

2023, a very positive year

In 2023Julien Clerc, Tryo, Marc Lavoine, Renaud, Arnaud Ducret and Michel Fugain graced the stage of the Espace de Forges.

In total, these are 15 spectacles which followed one another during the year. There were also playsof the comedies in co-production and room rental.

“That year, there were morehumour what of chanson. It was complicated to have artists because they are all racing to their peaks. For the small rooms It’s complicated, but it comes back! », observes Catherine Lejeunepresident of Forges Développement, who is also celebrating 10 years at the head of the association.

Associations, Harmony and schools also use the Espace de Forges, like the Domaine de Forges during its permanent festival.

The association records a notable improvement in its financial results compared to 2022.

“It is the co-production and the rental of the room that bring in the most,” says the president.

Please note that the association is not always free in its movements because certain artists impose ticket sales prices.

As for the price of a cinema ticket, it was increased by one euro on January 1, 2024 to €3.50.

Dates already complete for 2025

Catherine Lejeune quickly returned to the 2024 program, notably with the inauguration of a grand lodge in addition to the two small ones.

A necessary piece, because when the artists come, their team is made up of 20 to 30 people.

Mentissa, Jérémy Ferrari, Isabelle Boulay, Jean Baptiste Guégan, Zazie and many others performed on the stage of the Espace de Forges.

We can say that each time it was full or close to 50 places.

Note that theForges area it is 700 seated places or 1,200 seated-standing places or 1,400 standing places.

For the end of year celebrations, the room will be closed for 15 days.

Pierre Garnier on January 10

The year 2025 will start with a bang with the residence from the artist Pierre Garnierwinner of season 11 of the Star Academy.

“The singer will come from January 6, 2025. He will prepare his show and the first date of his tour will be with us, on Friday January 10 », underlines Catherine Lejeune.

To stay on the same theme, another candidate from season 11 of Star Ac’, Helenawill also hold a residency later in the year.

Calogero and the Souchon in 2026

“For 2026, we already have two names. Calogero as well asAlain Souchon and his two sons. And we are on other paths,” breathed Catherine Lejeune.

An economic asset

The Espace de Forges is often sold out, but where do the spectators come from?

“They are rarely Forgions and Forgionnes. There are not many people from here who attend the shows,” observes Christine Lesueur, mayor of Forges-les-Eaux.

“Spectators go to see a play and spend their Sunday afternoon in the city, go to restaurants, rent an Airbnb.”

“It’s true that on show weekends, we receive a lot of people from at the Domaine de Forges,” confirms Jean-Marie Tiercelin, representative of the Domaine de Forges.
