Moreover, Manon Le Maou herself says it, “if the rules of the Miss France competition had not changed, she would not have been able to compete in the Miss France election”. Aged 28 since last September, the pretty brunette who grew up in Baume-les-Dames (Doubs), is one of the oldest of the thirty contenders for the title of Miss France 2025.
His determined character
In addition to her age, 28, which gives her a certain maturity compared to other regional candidates, Manon Le Maou has forged a solid character, thanks to her job as a snon-commissioned officer in the gendarmerie. In Paris Match, she declared: “eAs a police officer, I am exposed to criticism on a daily basis. Over all these years, I have been able to build a character and a certain solidity in the face of difficult challenges”.

I don’t know what she’s going to do to us next, but she’s full of resources,” analyzes her dad, Pascal Le Maou. “For her, nothing is impossible or inaccessible,” adds Manon’s mother, Cathia Le Maou.

Naturally smiling, Manon is also a dynamic person. A graduate in literature in Besançon, she speaks with great eloquence, an asset when it is necessary to present herself live in front of the public and viewers.
Professional policeman
Barter the blue uniform against a beautiful dress with gold sequins, why not? Manon Le Maou is in any case considering it. SA career non-officer in the gendarmerie, following in her dad’s footsteps, she left the uniform in the closet while she ran for the Miss France election.
She worked for eight years, in Alsace, Ile-de-France and Corsica in particular. During her exercise in the gendarmerie, Manon le Maou was the victim of a serious accident in Anduze (Gard), while trying to intercept a motorist, who was chased by a crew from the BAC of Alès.

While maneuvering to turn around, the police car in which Manon is found is hit by the car being pursued, the impact is violent. The police vehicle is thrown into a ravine. A tree smashes through Manon’s door. Face bleeding, she managed to escape from the vehicle. And it is on her hospital bed that Manon makes the decision to enter the Miss France competition.

A promising dress
The magical fingers who made Manon’s first dress for the Miss Franche-Comté election were those of her father, Pascal Le Maou. He has been mastering sewing for 35 years and it was he who brought out the sewing machine.

For the big evening, Manon will be dressed by Ivorian designer Celse Manfy, already given a standing ovation for the creation of the very beautiful dress of Miss Franche-Comté 2023.
