An event that the whole world followed with the greatest attention. Saturday December 7, 2024, the Notre-Dame de Paris cathedral which is reborn from its ashes has finally reopened its doors to the public. Thus, a reopening ceremony was organized by the Elysée to celebrate the end of its renovation. In 2019, the emblematic religious building was ravaged by a terrible fire, destroying its roof, its frame and its famous spire.
“We will rebuild Notre-Dame Cathedral even more beautiful, and I want this to be completed within five years. We can, and there too we will mobilizes”, assured Emmanuel Macron, bruised like thousands of French people by the incident. A successful bet for the husband of Brigitte Macron. Yesterday in the presence of numerous heads of state and foreign personalities, including Prince William, the elected president American Donald Trump, Prince Albert II of Monaco and Volodymyr Zelensky, the President of the Republic thanked all the people who contributed to the restoration of Notre-Dame. The long-awaited celebrations ended with a sumptuous concert at. inside the cathedral, due to the unpredictable weather.
Marion Cotillard takes it for her rank
Multiple artists from all walks of life were naturally invited to perform the show. Like Vianney, Garou, Clara Luciani, the South African soprano Pretty Yende or even Marion Cotillard who recited the poem The Bridge by Victor Hugo under the sweet notes of cellist Yo-Yo Ma. Not a little proud of her presence, Guillaume Canet's companion was immortalized in full communion with the sacred place on her networks. Unfortunately for her, her performance also had the merit of divide Internet users to the highest degree.
-“She's really bad“, we can read on X, formerly Twitter or even: “Marion Cotillard for the reopening of Notre Dame de Paris is not the best idea guys though“, “Minimum 10,000 euros worth of clothes on her. Marion Cotillard inside Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris. They didn't understand the message or what makes these buildings so majestic.“, “Marion Cotillard makes us Victor Hugo, he who was a royalist, while she is from this bloodthirsty left. This ceremony is almost as bad as the opening ceremony of the last Olympic Games in France. Decadence, perfidy, lies… nothing will be spared us“.
Others have also drawn parallels to his fictional death scene in the film The Dark Night Risesone of the parts of the Batman saga, which was heavily criticized in the past. “Marion Cotillard has the same way of declaiming a poem as of dying in the cinema“, tweeted one Internet user. Others enjoyed the show, writing on X: “I adore!!!! #NotreDameDeParis The cathedral is cured of the flames.” Ambiance !
