Since October 1, Elodie Angelino has taken over from Caroline Verdoux (present since the inauguration) as director of the Edenis l’Edelweiss nursing home in Beauzelle.
With a background in health law, she worked in human resources in engineering for around ten years, then held the position of deputy director in an establishment of the Edenis group.
“I wanted to evolve in the medical-social world more in line with my values, where the bonds we build with residents, families and employees are strong and enriching,” she explains.
For the coming year, Elodie Angelino wishes to promote two guidelines: to strengthen the already numerous local partnerships and in particular gardening and the preservation of nature, and to concretize a call for projects with Blagnac (Odyssud) to bring in art in nursing homes.
“We want to develop activities in partnership with the shared gardens located near the establishment and bring a troop of female artists to the establishment to encourage all kinds of artistic productions,” she specifies. .
A dynamism already palpable in the month of December with a Christmas market organized on Wednesday December 4, where the funds raised by the sale of residents’ productions were donated to the Telethon, and a festive Christmas snack on Friday December 20 in the company of families on the theme of cabaret.
