Séverine Le Bihan: 16 years of passion serving theater in the Fouesnantais region

Séverine’s forest theater troupe is offering two performances on Saturday December 14 and Sunday December 15, at Nautile, in La Forêt-Fouesnant: Saturday December 14 at 8:30 p.m., “Toc Toc” and Sunday at 3 p.m., the premiere of “ Silence we turn.”

Séverine Le Bihan has been THE theatrical reference in the Fouesnantais canton for 16 years. She then set up a stage expression workshop which she ran for 10 years at the Saint-Joseph college in Fouesnant. At the same time, she trains to discover all the facets and behind the scenes of theater and also offers activities for children, always focused on theater. She then created her own troupe, “Le P’tit theater de Séverine” which then became “La troupe de Séverine” and took up residence at the Nautile.

90 students under his direction

Currently, she directs 90 students, including 74 children who present each year, either a “one man”, a comedy or a contemporary play. “They are the ones who choose. The pieces last around 30 to 40 minutes and are presented in June in front of an audience,” explains Séverine Le Bihan.

10 years ago, she also started directing. “I started with “Toc Toc”. Then I continued with other plays, always vaudeville.” She currently directs the three adult troupes which present three plays: “Toc Toc”, “La Sœur du verre” and the latest, “Silence, on tourne” by Patrick Haudecoeur.

Former students turned professionals

Séverine Le Bihan is already working on the staging of a new project: “The First Name” with established actors, such as Philippe Bourbigot. “In the troupe, there are former students of Cours Florent, those who already have experience on the boards. What is satisfying is that some of my former students have evolved and made it their profession or are studying in this field,” smiles the enthusiast who has added yet another string to her professional bow, by providing theater classes at the within the training school for entertainment professions, Klaxon Rouge in Beg-Meil.
