Alexander Skarsgard made a notable appearance in the episode “Come Out and Play” of season 6 of the series “What we do in the shadows”, in which he plays a vampire who looks exactly like his character Eric Northman in “True Blood.”
A touch of nostalgia. As the series “What we do in the shadows” draws to a close, Alexander Skarsgard has added his name to the long list of celebrities who have come to participate in this hilarious comedy launched in 2019, season 6 of which is currently broadcast on the American channel FX – and in France on myCANAL – will be the last.
The 48-year-old actor made a notable appearance in the episode “Come Out and Play,” in which he played a vampire whose look is reminiscent of Eric Northman’s character, whom he played in the hit series “True Blood”. An appearance commented on by Alexander Skarsgard himself shortly after its broadcast.
“I’m afraid that I have no memory of having filmed this episode since Laszlo Cravensworth (character in the series played by Matt Barry, editor’s note) apparently hypnotized me during the end of filming party. I did, however, wake up with an intense physical attraction to Mr. Cranvensworth and found his incredible wit, charm and intelligence to be irresistible. I therefore created a fan page dedicated to him on YouTube. It’s called ‘Because you’re worth it’. Thank you for following us and subscribing,” he reacted in a press release.
Alexander Skarsgard is one of the many celebrities to make an appearance in this series, adapted from the eponymous film directed in 2014 by Taika Waititi, and launched on the American channel FX in 2019. Mark Hamill, Haley Joel Osment, Benedict Wong, Scott Bakula, Tilda Swinton, Danny Trejo, Wesley Snipes, and the late Paul Reubens, known for his role in the series “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” all participated as as guests.
