After 15 years in this position, Drazen Domjanic, initiator, artistic director and general director of the Liechtenstein Academy of , has decided to retire from operational activities as of September 1, 2025. He will, however, remain at the Academy of Music as advisor to his successor, the Swiss Beat Fehlmann, will also take on a new role as a member of the foundation board.

Beat Fehlmann is currently artistic director of the State Philharmonic Orchestra Rhineland-Palatinate after having held several management positions within different groups in Germany. For several years, Beat Fehlmann has focused on administrative activities. Since 2020 he has also taught orchestra management at the University of Music and Performing Arts Frankfurt. In 2022 he received the Kulturpreis der deutschen Orchester for his innovative work. He is also responsible for managing the Esperanza ensemble, founded by the music academy. (Community)
