Women’s dreams
Movie theater. As part of the global #16daysofactivism campaign against gender-based violence, UN Women Morocco and its partners are launching a film week dedicated to women’s rights. Until December 10, the Renaissance cinema in Rabat is screening committed films that question contemporary feminist struggles.
After There is still tomorrow, Inshallah a boy et Women talkingthe public will have the opportunity to discover, on November 29 at 7 p.m., Olfa’s daughtersby Kaouther Ben Hania. A powerful documentary, presented in Cannes, which reveals the moving story of four Tunisian sisters, two of whom turned to Daesh.
And on November 30 at the same time, Sisterhood et Unsilenced will respectively explore the themes of sisterhood and freedom of expression, offering different perspectives on female emancipation.

Artistic resilience
Festival. The second edition of “Dérive Casablancaise” highlights the creations of Palestinian, Lebanese and Moroccan artists. Among the most anticipated moments, the poignant reading of poetic works by Mahmoud Darwich, by director Faouzi Bensaïdi, promises to be an emotional high point.
In a dramatic geopolitical context, this festival offers a space of resilience where artistic creation transcends borders, conflicts, and reinvents possibilities.
Theater, dance, poetry, literature, music and cinema will echo to testify, resist and imagine, in the presence of Kamilya Jubran, Nacera Belaza and Meryem Jazouli. An event that transforms the artistic encounter into a political act of resilience.

An expected reunion
Musique. After two triumphant European tours which delighted the Moroccan diaspora, the legendary group Nass El Ghiwane is making its comeback on the stages of Casablanca, Marrakech and Rabat.
These concerts promise to be a musical journey through five decades of cultural history. Symbols of music that has spanned generations, the group returns to the stage, accompanied by four musicians and a gnawa group, promising an exceptional sound experience.
With his catchy rhythms which rocked the youth of the 1970s and his texts with political and cultural resonance, Nass El Ghiwane embodies the living memory of Moroccan scenes.

Run for Valencia
Solidarity. “Move your legs, move your heart”: this is the slogan of the solidarity race organized this November 30 in Rabat by the Cervantes Institute of Rabat, in collaboration with the Spanish School of Rabat and the Spanish Embassy. The objective: to raise funds for those affected by the floods in Valencia. The participation fee is 100 dirhams for adults (5.6 km) and 50 dirhams for children under 15 (2.8 km).

Reverberations
Festival. As part of the 30th edition of the Casablanca International Video Art Festival, Albert Data presents, on November 30, Slowly Fading into Dataa hybrid and prospective show. This live audiovisual performance accompanies the release of his debut album, exploring themes of disembodiment, synthetic identities and post-human evolution.

Woman-show
Spectacle. Dounia Boutazzout, essential actress on the small screen, takes the stage for an evening of comedy and heritage music. In Les Instoppables, the actress dissects, with audacity and humor, the flaws of Moroccan society. Accompanied by the 3bidat Rma troupe, Boutazzout promises guaranteed laughs and will celebrate Moroccan cultural heritage.
