Failing to treat yourself to a getaway to the land of Dolce Vita, you still have the option of an Italian brunch: this is what A Braccetto offers, a beautiful Italian address to discover in the 5th arrondissement.
Right opposite the Luxembourg Gardens, this is where office colleagues take refuge at lunchtime, students from nearby universities or even lovers of good Italian cuisine. On Monday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, A Braccetto offers, in addition to its usual menu, its own brunch, with classics of this late meal, revisited in the Italian style.
On the menu, each person can order 3 plates : a mini pizza, to choose from the wide selection of pizzas napolitaines cooked in a wood oven, savory dish and a dessertin addition to a drink (hot or pressed fruit juice). Here, the Avocado toast takes the form of a focaccia garnie generously covered with parmesan, the Poulpe carpaccio focusing on freshness with a combo of sweet-salty coulis and aromatic herbs, the essential eggs benedict are served on a focaccia toast, with grilled guanciale (pork cheek). Or, you are spoiled for choice with truly fine Italian specialties, such as arancini with truffle.
For hot drinks, there is something for everyone, with a classic menu of coffees, infusions, teas (green, black) and signature drinks, such as pistachio cream coffeeViennese coffees/chocolates or pistachio chocolate, for an additional €3 on the formula. For the freshly squeezed fruit juicewe rely on a full supply of vitamins, with combos combining apple, cucumber and basil, orange, carrot and lemon, or apple/orange alone, also for an additional €6.
Finally, on the sweet side, the dessert is not left out: we find in this brunch the classics on the subject, with the granola bowl (homemade, please) served with fromage blanc and fresh seasonal fruit, theexcellent chocolate mousse 72%pistachio crème brûlée as well as pancakes or Italian French toastto be generously topped with pistachio cream, nutella, maple syrup, etc. A Braccetto’s brunch is served every Monday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
For this very generous brunch formula, count €29 per personknowing that you can order again, for €7 per additional plate or the price of drinks in addition. The brunch does not have a children’s formula, but the restaurant A Braccetto offers one every day: count on €15 for a formula including main course, drink and dessert.
